Classroom Computers
Please note: The following classrooms in the Smurfit School are part of the University Shared Teaching Spaces Portfolio and so are under the remit of UCD Estate Services for Audio Visual Support and Maintenance, etc:

All other audio visual facilities on the Blackrock campus are managed by ILTG.

Each ILTG managed classroom or teaching space, has a “House PC” which conforms to a standard and so users can expect a similar usage experience across our rooms.
There is no username or password required to use these computers. By default, once turned on, the computers will boot into an account named “business” and you may use the computer as required.
Saving Files or Making Changes
Every time these computers are restarted or turned off and on again, they revert to a pre defined state and any changes made, software installed or files created or saved to computer are removed and cannot be recovered. It is recommended any files created or changed be saved to a USB device, Brightspace, Google Drive etc to preserve them.
