Teaching space allocation on the Blackrock campus was officially centralised in 2019, meaning that teaching rooms on the Blackrock campus are now considered part of the University “shared teaching spaces” portfolio. Arising from that centralisation, management and support of the audio visual facilities in Blackrock shared teaching spaces is now the responsibility of UCD Estate Services from January 1st 2020. In practise, this means that Blackrock Campus Services are responsible for the maintenance of AV equipment in these spaces including providing technical support to users on a day to day basis.
For reference, the Blackrock shared teaching spaces are: C201, C301, C302, E101, E102, E201, N202, N203, N204, N302, N303, N304, D101, E117, N111/LT1
Audio Visual facilities on the Blackrock campus which are NOT included in the shared teaching portfolio will continue to be managed by ILTG. This includes all meeting rooms, the Lawrence Crowley Boardroom and all facilities in Smurfit Executive Development.
