Effective October 2018, there is a new Password Policy across the University and all users are required to comply with the requirements and restrictions as set out therein.
The new policy sets out University standards for:
● The creation of strong passwords
● The frequency of change and reuse of those passwords
● The protection of those passwords.

As referenced by the President of the University in a bulletin dated October 2 2018, you should change your password to comply with the new policy as soon as possible. If your password does not comply with the new complexity rules by Wednesday, 10 October, then your password will be expired and you may lose access to UCD systems.
Users can change their password at any time via https://selfpass.ucd.ie
